Gymboree

Reese went to her first Gymboree class yesterday. This was the first time she had been around other babies her age and she really seemed to enjoy it. I liked the flow of the class. Parents got to participate in songs and dances. There's a group time and then some individual playtime with other babies. All in all I think it is just the kind of social interaction Reese needs each week.

Here she is playing with a ball.

Later on during the music portion of the class she found a cymbal and wouldn't let go of it. Luckily, there was a "slime bucket" there to put all toys that were slimed during the class. It was definitely slimey after Reese got a hold of it.

The gym had a floor to ceiling mirror that Reese loved.

She got to play on the gym mats and with a rainmaker.

To wrap up the class we met back as a group and the teacher blew bubbles and the parents did a parachute activity. This was probably the highlight for Reese. I don't believe she has ever seen floating bubbles before then.

I am sure if Reese could speak she would have said what Joe's neice, Julia, said once...

"This is the best day of my life and no one can take that away from me!"
