The book goes like this...
"Here are Paul and Judy. They can do lots of things. YOU can do lots of things, too."
Reese's face lights up when she first sees them!
"Judy can pat the bunny. Now YOU pat the bunny."
Go ahead Reese pat the bunny!
She really enjoys this part.
"Judy can play peek-a-boo with Paul. Now YOU play peek-a-boo with Paul."
Reese still needs a bit of help lifting up on the cloth.
She tries to do it herself though.
"Paul can smell the flowers. Now YOU smell the flowers."
Reese not only smells the flowers...
She tries to taste the flowers, too.
"Judy can look in the mirror. Now YOU look in the mirror."
Sometimes Reese looks in the mirror.
Sometimes not.
"Judy can feel daddy's scratchy face. Now YOU feel daddy's scratchy face."
Reese would rather not feel Daddy's scratchy face.
Maybe it's too rough for her liking.
"Judy can read her book. Now YOU read Judy's book."
Reese listens well as I read this part.
"Paul can put his finger through Mummy's ring. Now YOU put your finger through Mummy's ring."
I have to stick her finger through the ring.
She isn't quite sure what to think about this.
"That's all bye-bye. Can you say bye-bye? Paul and Judy are waving bye-bye to YOU."
Reese is so interested in this part. She watches my hand wave back and forth. You can tell she knows it's an important skill she needs to learn to do.
